Project Summary
The Trillium Wind Project is a proposed wind energy project to be located on privately owned land about 5 miles north of Lincoln. The project will produce energy using wind turbines. The generating capacity is expected to be 200 MW with 34 turbines, the equivalent of powering approximately 40,000 Arkansas homes every year.
The power from the project will be delivered into the local electrical grid, helping to diversify the regional energy portfolio. The project will provide local economic benefits through construction-related jobs and property tax payments to the county. Landowners who participate in the project will receive substantial passive income from hosting turbines and other infrastructure while still having the ability to use their land to farm, hunt, and recreate.
- The Project will connect to the electrical grid at an existing 161kV overhead transmission line.
- The Project will follow all required federal, state, and local regulations.
- Project construction is anticipated to take approximately 12 months and has not been scheduled for groundbreaking yet.
- At the end of commercial operations, project components will be removed and the site will be restored.
The project is being developed RES North America Leasing, LLC for Trillium Wind, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of RES America Developments Inc (RES).
